I extend warm felicitations to the Chairman, Executive Committee, and the entire membership of the Nigerian Bar Association, Bwari Branch — The Cradle Bar — on the occasion of your 2025 Law Week.
The theme, *“Lawyers as Agents of Change: Navigating Economic Reforms, Judicial Policy and Contemporary Issues*,”is not only timely but also profoundly weighty. It calls us back to the nobility of our calling — not as mere experts in the business of law, but as conscience-bearers of the nation, custodians of justice, and promoters of good governance.
At a time when the soul of the nation trembles under the weight of uncertainty, it is the lawyer — learned, courageous, and principled — who must rise to steady the scales.
I wish the Cradle Bar fruitful deliberations and commend your efforts toward building a better Nigeria — one rooted in justice, equity, and accountability.
