– *Investments in Tertiary Institutions*: Governor Aiyedatiwa has allocated significant funds to universities in Ondo State, such as:

    – *₦1 billion to the University of Medical Sciences*, Ondo

    – ₦1.2 billion to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology, Okitipupa

– *Support for Adekunle Ajasin University*: The governor performed a groundbreaking ceremony for a new 250-bed hall of residence and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving the education sector

– *Promoting Academic Excellence*: Governor Aiyedatiwa emphasized the importance of producing skilled graduates who can contribute to Ondo State’s socio-economic development.

This award ceremony is part of the University of Benin Alumni Association’s 101st General Council Meeting, scheduled to take place from May 1-4, 2025, in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.
