Counting down to celebrate International Women’s Day we celebrate our amazon the NBA Sokoto Chairman Rashidat Mohammed.
In 2018 I had a privilege of my mandatory NYSC in Sokoto state where I crossed paths and became close to Rashidat Mohammed we also shared the same mentor who I worked under AY Abubakar who was the former NBA Sokoto State Chairman.
I recall her support when I undertook my project of empowering the and protecting the rights of the girl child of Northern Nigeria she supported the idea.
Imagine my excitement years later when she was elected as the first female chairman .
