STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO APPLYING FOR NBA STAMP AND SEAL ONLINE

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to 2025! As you complete the process of paying your Bar Practising Fee, the next step is to apply for your NBA Stamp and Seal. Below is a detailed, step-by-step guide to assist you:

Application Process

1. Log in: Visit https://portal.nigerianbar.org.ng and log in to your personal portal.

2. Navigate to Payment: On the left-hand side of your dashboard, click on the “Payment” option.

3. Select Stamp & Seal: When the “Stamp & Seal” option appears, click on it.

4. Choose Number of Packs: Indicate the number of stamp packs you wish to order.

5. Select Category: Choose either “Public” or “Private,” depending on your area of practice.

6. Upload Branch Dues Receipt: Upload proof of payment for your branch dues.

• Note: Only your branch dues receipt is required, and the file size must not exceed 1MB.

7. Proceed to Payment: Complete the payment for the stamp and seal.

8. Confirmation: After payment, the system will display “Application Complete,” and your application status will be updated to “Pending Review.”

Cost for Stamp and Seal

1. Pack of 96 stamps (4 sheets) – ₦7,000

2. Pack of 48 stamps (2 sheets) – ₦4,000

3. Pack of 24 stamps (1 sheet) – ₦2,000

Important Notes

1. Review Process: All applications will undergo a review before final approval.

2. Rejection of Incorrect Uploads: If your branch dues receipt is uploaded incorrectly, your application will be rejected. You will receive an email requesting a re-upload. To re-upload, go to the ‘Stamp Application’ tab in your portal and click on the ‘Upload Document’ button.

3. Approval Notification: Upon successful application, you will receive a message confirming that “Your stamp application has been approved.” Your branch will notify you once the stamps are delivered.
