WHAT YOUNG LAWYERS MUST LOOK OUT FOR AS THE NBA ELECTIONS APPROACHES.

As the two years tenure of YC Maikyau led NBA administration winds down we young lawyers have began to see flurry of activities from prospective aspirants and their supporters.

Young lawyers must understand what is at stake hence we must fill persons who will improve the welfare of young lawyers and bridge the disconnect between the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and it’s members.

The welfare of young lawyers must be given topmost priority and there is an urgent need for strategic planning for strategic development as we young lawyers are victims of situations we did not create neither did our seniors.

The incoming administration and future NBA president must as a matter of urgency have a representation of Young Lawyers Forum in the National Executive Council (NEC).

Finally with so much at stake as the judiciary is today struggling to regain it’s honor and confidence the NBA must take up the age long responsibility to be the voice of the judiciary.
