NBA-NEC Approves 2024 AGC Conference Fees

The Nigerian Bar Association’s National Executive Committee (NBA-NEC) has approved the 2024 Annual General Conference Conference fees at it’s NEC meeting at the AU Club’s Staff Club Conference Hall in Yola, Adamawa State.
During the meeting, Mrs. Badejor, the Chairman of the 2024 NBA AGC also announced that this year’s sports competition will be conducted on a regional basis, with only the finals taking place during the conference itself. She also highlighted the need to review the budget, considering the current 30% inflation rate, which could impact the quality of conference materials, particularly the conference bags.
The conference fees approved are as follows:
I-9 YEARS:
EARLY BIRD RATE: N50,000.00
REGULAR RATE= N75,000.00
LATE REGISTRATION = N100,000.00
ON SITE REGISTRATION: N250,000.00
10- 19 YEARS:
EARLY BIRD RATE: N75,000.00,
REGULAR RATE: N100,000.00
LATE REGISTRATION: N250,000.00
ON SITE REGISTRATION: N350,000.00
2O YEARS AND ABOVE:
EARLY BIRD RATE: N100,000.00
REGULAR RATE :N150,000.00
LATE REGISTRATION: N300,000.00
ON SITE REGISTRATION: N400,000.00
SAN’s, A-G’s AND BENCHERS:
EARLY BIRD RATE: N250,000.00
REGULAR RATE: N350,000.00
LATE REGISTRATION: N500,000.00
ON SITE REGISTRATION: N750,000.00
MAGISTRATES: N75,000.00 FLAT RATE
JUDGES & KHADIS: N100,000.00 FLAT RATE
NON-LAWYERS: N150,000.00 FLAT RATE
INTERNATIONAL DELEGATES: $500.00 FLAT RATE
SENIOR LAWYERS: 70 YEARS & ABOVE & 40 YEARS POST CALL – N50,000.00 FLAT RATE
VIRTUAL REGISTRATION:
YOUNG LAWYERS (1-7 YEARS) – FREE
ALL OTHER CATEGORIES – N25,000.00
The 2024 NBA Annual General Conference, themed “Pressing Forward: A National Posture for Rebuilding Nigeria,” is scheduled to take place in Lagos from August 23 to 30, 2024.
Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), has been confirmed as the keynote speaker for the event.
